Speaker Biography

Dr. Brad Klassen serves as Professor of Bible Exposition and Director of ThM Studies at The Master’s Seminary. He is also an elder at Grace Community Church (Sun Valley, CA), where he teaches in the church’s weekly men’s ministry, “Men of the Word,” and co-pastors the adult fellowship group “Commissioned.” Prior to joining The Master’s Seminary faculty in 2013, Dr. Klassen was involved in pastoral training in the former Soviet Union for over a decade. He and his wife, Heather, have four adult children and one son-in-law.

Speaker Biography

Dr. Hargrove pastored two churches in the Los Angeles area from 1993-2014. In 2014 he returned to his ordaining church, Grace Community Church, where is he directs Grace Advance (a ministry that provides pastoral leadership for developing churches in N. America) and pastors the Anchored Fellowship group. He is very involved in missions support with an emphasis on Africa. He is the co-founder of the African Revitalization Centre (ARC), which provides training and resources for pastors in Africa. Carl is a Faculty Associate at The Master’s Seminary and a graduate of The University of Cincinnati (B.A.) and The Master’s Seminary (M.Div., Th.M., D.Min.). He and his wife Joanna have been married for 28 years and have five adult children.

Speaker Biography

Dr. Steve Swartz is the senior preaching pastor of Grace Bible Church in Bakersfield, California and the featured speaker on Steadfast in the Faith, a teaching ministry based in expository preaching and writing. Author of Shattered Shepherds, Preparing for Heaven, Strength in the River, and more, Steve's desire is to train men and build up churches to know and teach the Word of God and to equip the local community of believers with impact for the Gospel of Christ. He is a two-time graduate of The Master's Seminary and brings 25 years of seasoned pastoral and counseling experience to the pulpit. Steve lives in Bakersfield with his wife and family.
